SÈTE - VeniCe OF Languedoc (OCCITANIE)
Whatever the weather, this city is our absolute favourite for a short day trip, expo visit or just an apéro.
A lot of interesting galleries showing modern art. The street art scene is omnipresent with lots of cool graffiti.
The canals of Sète are the city's trademark but we also love the old fishermen's quarter “La Pointe Courte” with its enchanting chaos.
There are several delicious local specialities like Rouille de Seche, Macaronade and Tielles. One place selling excellent Tielles
(a savoury pie, filled with octopus or other seafood) for take away is Paradiso. Sète is a beautiful port city with an historic old town
and long fine sand beaches.
We can´t wait for our favourite beach club “La Ola” to open next week!!
